DOCUMENTARY EDITORIAL COMMERCIAL ABOUT NOBIS

The Society Hill Towers in
Philadelphia under construction in 1965 as part of an Urban Renewal Project.
Current NOBIS Productions
projects:
Nobis Productions is working with
Pennsylvania PBS stations to produce a series
of in-depth packages exploring the
issues facing the state in the run-up to the 2006 gubernatorial election.
It will air on PBS stations across the state in October 2006.
We are working with WHYY on The Next Mayor Project, a groundbreaking multi-media
enterprise being
produced in conjunction with the Philadelphia Daily News and
the Committee of Seventy. Comprised of focus
groups and community-based reports,
the project explores those challenges that will
confront the next mayor of
Philadelphia.
Working with the city of
Philadelphia, we are producing a series of videos on the various proposals
years
and John Adams lived there during his presidency. The monument will honor both
men as well
as
recognize the slave quarters built on the site by Washington.
Collaborating with the Charlotte
Observer, we produced a Newcomer
guide, a
comprehensive CD
that offers maps, neighborhood information and other useful tools to new residents in the Charlotte, NC region.
We are producing an educational video
for the Philadelphia Orchestra
that documents
the ensembles outreach efforts in the
city of Camden, NJ.
We are producing a 90-minute
commemorative video looking back at the history of the Womens
Committee of the Philadelphia Museum
of Art. The video will be comprised of interviews with committee
members
as well as footage from the
Philadelphia Craft Show, an annual event held by the Committee to
raise money for the Museum of Art.
We are also working with WHYY and the Center City District to create a series of short documentaries
on the history of various planning and development projects in Philadelphia such as Society Hill, Penn's Landing and
the office district on West Market Street.
